Block Sconce

Block Sconce by Henry Wilson for Studio Henry Wilson. A lamp of elegant minimalist forms and gentle asymmetry, the Block Sconce comprises two pieces of natural stone connected by a concealed mount – a small front plate projecting light both onto and upwards from a rear plate. The former’s single curve sits in pleasing geometric contrast with the latter – an upright square with a dominant circular concavity. The Block Sconce is crafted from solid stone in Porto, Portugal. To highlight tactility and appearance, and in keeping with our aesthetic and approach, the surface is left unsealed and porous sections left unfilled, with a honed finish. Because of the uniqueness of each block, colour will vary from one piece to another.
