About Bulb
The glass bulb made of hand-blown crystal glass encases a smaller bulb with a mirrored dome. The foot is made of chromated metal. Bulb was incorporated into the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1968. Ingo Maurer's 1966 design is now considered a classic. Ingo Maurer originally selected a 100-watt lamp for design purposes. Lamps with less output are smaller and are not really recommended. The supplied LED string lamp has the right size. It is also available separately.
