CAPITELLO lounge chair, ATTICA armchair, and ATTICA TL coffee table by Studio 65 are designed by "deconstructing" a traditional Grecian column, resulting in a unique set that mimics different parts of the column. Each piece is handmade using soft polyurethane and finished with Guflac® Ultra, allowing them to be used indoors or out, and resembling the marble after which they were modeled. The tension between expectation and reality creates a sense of wonder as the plush softness of the furniture contrasts with the expected hardness of stone. This iconic set of pop art furniture has been featured in prestigious museums such as the Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum in New York, and serves as a monument to the ways in which materials are born anew from destruction.
