About Doge Pendant

Doge pendant by Venini. Elaborations of the cesendello, or a typical oil lamp of Renaissance Venice, the pendant lamps of the Doge collection, conceived by Napoleone Martinuzzi in 1927, are perfectly suited to traditional interiors as well as contemporary settings. Blown glass pendant lamp made using the “rigadin”technique. Oval “Bossette”, the “cappello” and a round bowl hang from the ceiling rosette. The lower part tapers down to a small spherical finial. The structure is gold- plated metal. This model is also conceived in the shortened version, with a single “bossetta” encasing the stem.
