GA1 can be said to resemble a cloud, floating above the floor surface. The lighting fixture consists of two mouth-blown glass halves, made from three-layered opaque glass, joined together by a chromed bracket.
GA1 is a testament to the understanding and respect for glass as a material – each curve and surface is deliberately formed, and the meeting between the two glass halves is precisely balanced.
Originally, the fitting was constructed around the light bulb. To preserve the unique and original light distribution created by the glass, GA1 continues to be manufactured for omni-directional light sources.
