An iridescent bulb sits perfectly on a brass socket with pull switch. The bulb is actually a holographic representation, whilst the socket and switch are real. This is a fascinating use of the hologram technique, which will baffle visitors time and again. The light source is affixed at the end of a rod and illuminates the hologram. (Please note that in some photos the rod has been airbrushed out.) For technical reasons, it is not possible to determine the colour of the hologram.
