"Ettore's idea was to start something new, where we were free to design whatever we wanted without exhausting negotiations with manufacturers or marketing departments. This is how Memphis was born. All our products had to have this dual function: one ergonomic, the other expressive, sculptural," says Michele De Lucchi. Horizon perfectly expresses this intention.
