Mano

Designed in 2000 by Cinzia Ruggeri, MANO is a mysterious piece: an

open hand standing on itself, to be interpreted as an intimidation to stop,

an informal salute; or, if placed horizontally, as a tentacular chair.

Upholstered with black velvet, this domestic sculpture is perfectly in line

with the artist and designer’s disruptive practice, between functional and

irrational, geometry and abstraction. With MANO, Gufram celebrates

the visionary identity of Cinzia Ruggeri, showing the public an object that

represents a gesture and also a symbol, a provocation and an invitation

to interact. A new classic that confirms the power of art in everyday life.
