Pillar Lamp by Henry Wilson for Studio Henry Wilson. The Pillar Lamp is designed to provide a warm, atmospheric glow – both from the light cast beneath its shade, and illumination of the stone from within, which reveals a subtle translucency.
Each edition is hewn from two pieces of solid stone. The surface is left unsealed and its porous sections left unfilled; together with a honed finish, this effects a pleasing appearance and tactility that complement the Pillar Lamp’s minimalist forms. Because of the qualities of natural stone, colour and veining will vary from one piece to
another.
Please note that this piece is heavy (weighing 18 kilograms); accordingly, it requires careful packaging and placement in transit, and a sturdy display surface.
Crafted in Porto, Portugal; delivered with wiring.
