Veliero Floor Lamp by Tadao Ando for Venini. “A simple rectangular planar figure is infused with the geometry of a sine-curve sequence. The freely curved surface fragment obtained from the geometric operation is reproduced using Venetian glass. The strictly ruled geometry becomes a “Wave with Soul” that gains complexity in response to light. However, the simplicity of the original square remains unchanged. “The Wave with Soul” allows the free combination of the pieces and the overlapping waves create a variety of products.”
