About Cesendello on a Rod
A cesendello, or sanctuary lamp, has its roots in Rome and Byzantium, and later became popular in Venice and the Muslim world. The profile of its elegant spiral structure recalls the twist of a turban. The refined silhouette represents the synthesis of the Oriental and Renaissance themes present in Venice as early as the 15th century. The fabric-covered rod with delightful detail can accommodate 3 to 9 light points. In the suspended version, the rod comes with two hanging chains (each 2 meters / 79″), adjustable on site. Available with Wall or Ceiling attachments. Also available in Silver Classic (SC), White Classic (WC), Gold Mosaic (GM) and Red Mosaic (RM).
