The Neotenic table lamp is the fruit of Petite Friture's first ever collaboration with American design studio Jumbo. The collection's generous rounded shapes echo the comfort of childhood memories. The designer's intention with this collection was to trigger emotion and create physical bond between the object and its holder. The lamp is perfectly in line with Petite Friture's chromatic identity and suggest a simplistic representation of an aubergine and tomato sauce. The hand-blown glass conveys a soft, opaline feel that enhances the meandering of the ceramic and the quality of light the lamp gives off. Available in two sizes, Neotenic is a chunky piece that has entered Petite Friture's playground of libre-garde collections.
