Flowers, fruits, and birds coexist alongside geometric shapes, lines, and typical Memphis patterns in this whimsical fusion of forms: Rivera, a pure wool rug created by French designer Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1983. The warm tones of turquoise, yellow, and orange harmonize and balance these distinct designs. The rigid spatial organization of the composition is broken and masked by the sinuosity of vibrant phytomorphic forms, halfway between birds and exotic flowers, free to roam and move across the surface. 100% Tibetan wool rug, hand-knotted on a handcrafted loom.
