Surface Wall Sconce by Henry Wilson for Studio Henry Wilson. An ambient, sculptural light manufactured in small batches, and available in stone and metal. The nature of materiality and the production process means that each lamp is unique. The surface is left unsealed, with porous sections left unfilled; due to this approach and to the qualities of natural stone, color and veining will vary from one sconce to another. All stone versions are crafted in Porto, Portugal. Because each casting occurs in small batches, slight variations will be visible from one piece to another. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. Further, the original bright finish will oxidize and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a quality metal polish to restore brightness. All metal versions are crafted, finished and polished in Sydney, Australia. Please Note: This lamp is created for installation with a mud kit (not provided) or there is an alternative option for a US mount with a 4" flat canopy attachment.
