Conceived for The Office Group in London, Ublo embodies architect David ThulstrupÕs impeccable visual and technical language within interior design. Envisioned as an architectural element it expresses purity in form and function with clean geometric lines and smooth materiality that will gracefully fit all spaces. The piece is meticulously engineered. Custom CNC-milled from solid aluminum, it is cut in one block that seamlessly conceals all technique while supporting the opal shade of injection molded polycarbonate. A sophisticated and high precision look and feel of quality deduced from function. Expanding the small market of wet room fixtures, Ublo carries an IP44 rating to offer a distinct design choice for bathrooms and other environments where water spray is a risk factor. Supporting AstepÕs sustainability vision the lamp is further fully reparable and using replaceable G9 bulbs as light source.
