About YK100B2 Table Light by Yrjö Kukkapuro for Blond
When Yrjö Kukkapuro designed his studio in 1968, he worked with highly experimental materials, forms, and architectural ideas. The vaulted concrete ceiling, which prevented the use of traditional ceiling-mounted fixtures, led directly to the creation of the Luminaire Series 100 – a collection developed to meet the designer’s own lighting needs.
The YK100B2 is the fixed-installation table light of the series. Designed for stability and seamless integration, it can also be used in combination with the various stands found throughout the rest of the Series 100. The result is a modern, flexible lighting solution rooted in timeless design heritage.
